PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen having good picture quality in which a fine pitch can be obtained at a low cost without degrading the quality, a light-shielding layer can be easily formed and the workability can be improved. SOLUTION: The transmission type screen has a base film 11 transmissive for ionization radiation, a first lenticular lens part 12 consisting of an ionization radiation-curing resin formed as a plurality of parallel lines on the face of the base film 11 in the light source side, and a light-shielding layer 13 formed on the face of the base film 11 in the observation side and on the plane where the light from the first lenticular lens part 12 is not condensed. The thickness of the base film 11 is controlled in such a manner that the plane 11a where the light from the first lenticular lens part 12 is condensed is in an almost same plane as the face of the film in the observation side. The first lenticular lens part 12 has <0.4 mm pitch. The light-shielding layer 13 is directly formed on the base film 11.
