PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal housing for securing an electronic apparatus rigidly while exhibiting high thermal conductivity thereto. SOLUTION: Protrusions 3, 4 having substantially the same height as the core 2a of a transformer 2 are formed on a metal housing 1 in such a shape as touching the opposite side faces of an electronic apparatus, i.e., the core 2a, being secured on the surface. The transformer 2 is seated between the protrusions 3, 4 of the metal housing 1 while touching the protrusions 3, 4 and when a bracket 5 is secured to the upper surface of the protrusions 3, 4 by means of screws 6, 7, the transformer 2 is pressed downward and secured to the metal housing 1.
