<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerating method for a filter for exhaust emission control post-fitted to an existing diesel vehicle in a socially realized mode. SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 13 having a filter for scavenging particulate matter in exhaust emission is mounted on the diesel vehicle 11. On the other hand, a gas generating source 16 is provided in a regenerating station 14 independent from the vehicle. When the filter tends to clog, the diesel vehicle 11 is brought to the regenerating station 14, high temperature regenerating gas generated by the gas generating source 16 is supplied to the filter to completely burn the particulate matter adhering to the filter. Thus, the filter is regenerated.</p> |
