<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrant with an air valve capable of easily installing a desired air valve without changing a structure of an existing hydrant and capable of inexpensively installing the air valve in a short period without enlarging a height dimension so much in an external shape. SOLUTION: This adapter 23 is composed of a piping connecting part 36 with the hydrant 21 and an air valve installing part 24 arranged in an outside position of this piping connecting part 36. A fluid passing hole is formed in the piping connecting part 36. An air valve installing hole opening in an upper surface is arranged in the air valve installing part 24. The passing hole and the air valve installing hole are connected by a hollow passage. The air valve 25 is threadedly engaged with the air valve installing hole via a repair valve 42 for the air valve to install the air valve 25 on the hydrant 21.</p> |
