PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording medium reproducing device which is not decorated at all so as to attach importance to a screen, obscures connecting wires and may be installed by hanging on a wall. SOLUTION: The signal wires, such as power sources, are emerged from the back of a device body 1. A monitor section 3 is detained to the approximately perpendicular wall so as to exist in the lower part of the device body 1. In such a case, the videos of the monitor screen 3m are electrically rotated 180 deg. and the voices from speakers 3s are also laterally inverted. Similarly, a selection switch j and display section 2d of a control section are vertically and laterally aligned.
