PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sales registration data processor, in which plural button groups is classified into several, then, a button displaying merchandise information related with desired merchandise is readily retrieved. SOLUTION: At least either a function or information to be displayed is selectively made different, even in the same button B, and even when a button Bc in which group designation upper rank conceptualized for classifying each merchandise is displayed as information is touched, any data processing not operated, and when only a button Ba in which the merchandise information related with the merchandise is displayed as information is touched, the data processing is operated. Thus, it is possible to classify plural button Ba groups several by using the button Bc, in which the group designation is displayed as information as a label taking a role as the caption of the button group, in which the merchandise information related with the merchandise is displayed as information, and to easily retrieve the button Ba in which the merchandise information related with the desired merchandise is displayed.
