PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the destruction of a fingerprint reading sensor owing to a mechanical impact from an outer part or the impression of static electricity. SOLUTION: A guide part 50 for guiding a finger to a reading hole 30 while permitting the finger to be brought into contact with a frame body 45 consisting of the conductive material of a sensor cover 40 and with a metallic plate 34 on one surface of a case is arranged between the one surface side of the case and the one end side of the sensor cover 40 which is supported in such a way that the one end side is attachable/detachable to/from the one surface side of the case at a position for covering the reading hole 30 disposed at the one surface side of the case and which is formed by a transparent or a translucent material in a part superimposed on the reading hole 30. The frame body 45 and the metallic plate 34 are electrically connected to the grounded line of a device and, then, the fingerprint reading sensor 31 is prevented from being destroyed by static electricity by permitting the finger guided by the guide part 50 to be brought into contact with the frame body 45 or the metallic plate 34 before it reaches the hole 30 and permitting static electricity electrified in the finger to flow in the grounded line. |
