PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic polishing method and its device capable of sanitarily carrying out work and automatically forming a bedrock testing surface without taking any labor for forming the bedrock testing surface in a site even when a surface to be polished is a soft rock. SOLUTION: The automatic polishing method of the bedrock testing surface is so constituted that the bedrock testing surface is automatically polished with a polishing disc to form the finished surface.
