PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recording device capable of recording more numerous information to a disk shaped recording medium. SOLUTION: In a disk recording device in which information being a recording object are stored in a buffer memory 13 and part numbers whose values are successively increased and are equal to or smaller than N are added to outputs of the buffer memory and the outputs are recorded on the disk shaped recording medium, when there is the instruction of a recording pause during the recording of outputs whose part number is within N (S17, S19), a write-in to the buffer memory and a recording to the recording medium by a recording means are inhibited (S21, etc.), and, thereafter, after the recording pause is removed, the writing-in to the memory 13 and the recording to the recording medium are permitted and part numbers of information recorded on the recording medium after the recording is resumed are made all to be N (S27).
