PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller member preventing deflection thereof, as well as making the space, a cost and a weight possible to be reduced, with the more simplified structure, and an image forming device using the same. SOLUTION: A transfer roller 34 is constituted of a pressure roller 36 being held in press contact with a photoreceptor drum 31, and a pressure shaft 38 supporting a pair of conductive bearings 37a and 37b standing for an annular holding member holding this pressure roller 36 from the roller inside face thereof. A high power source 70 is connected with the pressure shaft 38, and transfer bias is applied thereon. The bent of the transfer roller 34 is prevented with a simple structure by making an outside diameter of the transfer roller 34 asϕ16, and holding a section of 200 to 400 mm from end sides of the pressure roller 36 by respectively conductive bearing 37a and 37b.
