PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for observing an object in a microminiature gap. SOLUTION: A lens system is so designed that an incident pupil P of 0.3 to 0.7 mm in diameter comes to a position of 12 to 17 mm forward of an objective lens and a reflection mirror 15 is positioned by a reflection mirror mounting member 8 formed to a V shape in front of the objective lens 30 and a holding frame 12 and this reflection mirror 15 is inserted into the microminiature gap, by which for example, a soldering 52 segment of an IC chip 50 is observed.
