PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic drain apparatus which has a generator and a battery and whose battery does not need to be charged every time the apparatus is used to reduce the charging times of its battery and extend the operation life of the battery. SOLUTION: This automatic drain apparatus has a generator, which generates a power by using running water, and a battery, which can be charged by the generator. A capacitor for charge accumulation is provided in a route between the generator and the automatic drain apparatus.
