PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly comprehend the operating environment of a system to which equipments having various forms are connected and to properly conduct various processes for distribution of data, computer control, signal conversion, charging process and profit distribution. SOLUTION: A data distribution system is provided with a reproducing device which reproduces contents data, that are the objects of distribution, from a mounted recording medium, a recording device which records the reproduced contents data onto the medium, an examining means which examines the respective kinds of the contents data recorded in the recording medium mounted on the reproducing device, the recording medium mounted on the reproducing device, the reproducing device, the recording medium mounted on the recording device and the recording device and a control means which controls the transfer of the contents data from the recording medium mounted on the reproducing device to the recording medium mounted on the recording device base on the result of examination. |
