PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily adjusting the frequency of an attenuation pole in a dual band pass filter which can be miniaturized, can increase the degree of coupling and is excellent in the degree of designing freedom in addition. SOLUTION: In this method for adjusting the frequency of the attenuation pole of the dual mode bandpass filter, a metallic film 3 formed partially on the main surface or inside of a dielectric substrate constitutes a resonator, a through hole 3a is formed at the film 3 in order to combine two resonance modes, input/output connecting circuits 5 and 6 connected to the film 3 are provided and at least one of the combining parts 5a and 6a and the input/output parts 5b and 6b of the circuits 5 and 6 is moved in a direction along the outer periphery of the metallic film.
