A floating rescue apparatus includes a pressure vessel with pressure medium, said pressure vessel installed on a holder equipped with a lever mechanism for opening the pressure vessel and with a passing channel for passing pressure medium from the pressure vessel into an airtight bag, whereas a connecting tube (36) and a distribution valve (40) with check valves (42, 43) are arranged between the passing channel (35) of the holder (30) firmly connected with a hollow case (1) of firm shape and the airtight bag (21) directed to chambers (24, 25) of the airtight bag (21), the chambers (24, 25) separated among each other by a partition (23) whereas the hollow case (1) provided with a lid (4) connected by a triggering rope (50) with a lever (33) of the lever mechanism (32). According to advantageous executions the distribution valve (40) with the check valves (42, 43) is arranged inside the bag (21), the bag (21) in its inflated state has the shape of an arc provided with loose ends (26, 27) of adjustable length, equipped with connecting buckles (28, 29) or the lid (4) is equipped from its external side by a catching handle (6) for grasping or by a control rope (50).
