Track ball used for controlling cursor on computer screen is mfd. by a method in which an inner ball (11) is produced and placed in a central area of a spherical mould. Material is injected into the mould to encapsulate the inner ball in an outer ball (10), resulting in the track ball (12). The injected material is pref. an unsaturated polymer, partic. a polyurethane foam material. A curing agent can be injected in a further process step.
