PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a chitosan complex in which fumaric acid of a high concentration is dissolved, and further to provide a method of producing the chitosan complex. SOLUTION: This method for producing the aqueous solution or the aqueous paste of the complex of the furnaric acid and the chitosan comprises adding the fumaric acid and the chitosan to water, and stirring the resultant mixture at a temp, of 40-100 deg.C, and is characterized by the content of the fumaric acid in the aqueous solution regulated so as to be >=1 g per 100 g water. |
