PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet holder provided with simple construction for gaining information for the type of set sheets. SOLUTION: The sheet holder 1 having an opening portion 1a for storing sheets S and discharging the sheets S is detachably provided in a set tray for an imaging device. It has a length W in the direction perpendicular to a sheet discharging direction D, which is differentiated depending on the type of the sheets S to be stored. A varying means 2 is provided for varying the length W in the direction perpendicular to the sheet discharging direction D depending on the type of the sheets S to be stored.
