PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To image an ultrasonic image which enables visual recognition of hourly changes in bloodstream at a quick glance. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave is transmitted with the intensity thereof enough to vanish a contrast medium to a part of a number of sound rays forming one frame and the ultrasonic wave with the intensity thereof so much as to keep the contrast medium from being vanished to the other sound rays to take an image of a marking frame for imaging one frame image from a received signal corresponding thereto. Then, the ultrasonic wave is transmitted with the intensity so much as to keep the contrast medium from being vanished to all of the sound rays to continuously take the image of a non-marking frame for imaging one frame image from a received signal corresponding thereto. Then, after the time passes to let the range of bloodstream already flowing be held within a visual field, the image of the marking frame is imaged again. This operation is repeated. This enables viewing of the stream with a stripe pattern attached thereto thereby achieving visual recognition of hourly changes therein at a quick glance.
