PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain discharge device connected to a base end side conveyor portion 12A in a swingingly switchable manner between a service mode where the tip side conveyor portion 12B of a transverse screw conveyor 12 for discharging grains from a grain tank is aligned straight in respect to the base end side conveyor portion 12A and a housing mode where the tip side conveyor portion 12B is folded so as to lie in parallel to the base end side conveyor portion 12A, and designed to facilitate the mode change between the housing mode and the service mode. SOLUTION: This grain discharge device for a combine harvester has such a scheme that a handle bar 22 for use in making a swing operation of the tip side conveyor portion 12B in respect to the base end side conveyor portion 12A is extendedly furnished from the tip side conveyor portion 12B toward the direction opposite to the grain carrying direction of the tip side conveyor portion 12B.
