Device to keep cut flowers fresh for admixing nutrients to the keep fresh liquid, with a carrier for the nutrient being provided by which the nutrients are dispensed directly to the keep-fresh liquid, wherein the blade-shaped, stem-shaped, stalk-shaped or rod-shaped carrier (1) is provided with a container (2) which receives and releases the nutrients and has walls which are permeable at least in certain areas.
