摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which the rate of removing solvents from microspheres is enhanced and the rate of the entrapping chemicals into the microspheres is improved in underwater drying. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the microspheres from a W/O/W emulsion or an O/W emulsion by an underwater drying method, the method is characterized in that (1) the amount of the microspheres per cubic meter of an outer water phase is approximately 0.1-approximately 500 kg, (2) the ratio of the cubic root of the outer water phase (unit: m3) to the square root of the area of the liquid surface (unit: m2) is 1 : approximately 0.2 to proximately 4.5, (3) the W/O/W emulsion or the O/W emulsion is replaced so that the replacing frequency may be approximately 0.01-approximately 10 times/min, (4) gas is sprayed onto the W/O/W emulsion or the O/W emulsion so that the moving rate of the gas in the vicinity of the liquid surface may be approximately 0.1-approximately 300 m/sec and (5) the gas is replaced so that the replacing frequency may be approximately 0.5 times/min or more.
