PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet for glass plates generating no wastes such as sub-packing materials and to be unloaded in a desired order. SOLUTION: The pallet used for loading vertically glass plates is formed of a back frame fixed and stood upright on one end of a floor framed vertically and laterally, a front frame provided removably on the opposite side to the back frame on the floor and side stoppers supported rotatably on both sides of the upper section of the back frame and engaged with both sides of the front frame. The glass plates are clamped and fixed by a plurality of channel-shaped continuous members provided in parallel with on the floor at the given intervals in the direction of crossing orthogonally the front frame, supporting members for supporting the lower end sides of the glass plates at the given intervals on the continuous members, front stoppers and front pressing tools for parting the glass plates adjacent to one another by engaging connecting tools, which are connected with the lower ends of a plurality of rotatable partition members journaled on a rod provided on the upper side of the back frame through a belt of adjustable length, with engaging fitments provided on the floor on the front frame side and providing the parting members on the diagonal lines of the glass plates and being brought into contact with the vertical sides on the front frame sides of the glass plates and a rear pressing means for pressing the vertical sides of the vertical sides of the back frame sides of glass plates.
