PURPOSE:To provide a piezoelectric porcelain composition, which is excellent in a piezoelectric deformation characteristic, Curie temperature and durability, and which is particularly suitable for a piezoelectric actuator and a piezoelectric sensor. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric porcelain composition is a complex perovskite type compound containing at least Pb, Zr, Ti, Sr, Ba, Zn, Sb as metal components. The composition formula based on the mol ratios of these metal elements is expressed by Pb1-x-ySrxBay (Zn1/3Sb2/3)1ZrbTi1-a-bO3, where 0<=x<=0.14, 0<=y<=0.14, 0<x+y, 0.01<=a<=0.12, 0.43<=b<=0.58. |
