PURPOSE: A method and system for transferring electronic prescriptions is provided to interwork hospitals and drugstores so that the business between them can conveniently be carried out. CONSTITUTION: A system for transferring electronic prescriptions consists of hospital servers(100), prescription input terminals(110), a management server(200), and drugstore terminals(300). The management server(200) is comprised of a patient DB(210), a webpage DB(220), a medicine mutual test DB(230), a medical insurance DB(240), a drugstore DB(250), a drugstore decision module(260), a prescription transfer module(270), a payment management module(280), and a hospital sever management module(290). The patient DB(210) stores personal information for subscribers. The webpage DB(220) stores a webpage to enable patients, hospitals and drugstores to access the management server(200). The medicine mutual test DB(230) stores abnormal reaction test results for the medicines of subscribed patients. The medical insurance DB(240) stores information related to the subscribers' medical insurance. The drugstore DB(250) stores information associated with drugstores. The drugstore decision module(260) decides drugstores suitable for subscribers. The prescription transfer module(270) transmits the prescriptions transmitted from the hospital servers(100) to the drugstore terminals(300). The payment management module(280) manages information related to payment. The hospital sever management module(290) manages the situations of the hospital servers(100).
