PURPOSE: A virtual language educational system is provided to offer a system to execute language study with interest by suitably utilizing computers. CONSTITUTION: A virtual language educational system provides a character database through an Internet web site so that a user can select a desired character according to his taste. Going through the process of bringing up the selected character, the user acquires a language system. Based on this language system, the user carries out chatting and exchanges e-mail with other web site users. The Internet web site is embodied through a web server. The web server, worked together with a virtual language database, a sentence structure database, the character database and a character accessory database, provides various character shapes to users.
