PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve well reproduced image rate for prints by lessening the drastic imbalance of the exposure value between a main subject and a background in flash photography, as much as possible. SOLUTION: The program shutter for controlling flash light emission timing with a correct aperture value, corresponding to a subject distance has a lens- setting means 35 which sets the position of a photographic lens in correspondance with the distance to the subject, a flash light emission timing section 26, which controls the flash light emission timing during the open motion of the shutter, a eight photometric section 33, which measures the external world luminance by natural light, an exposure control means 36 which controls the opening rate of the shutter dependently upon the output of the light metering section 33 and a control means 30, which controls the drive of the respective means and the respective sections. The control means 30 controls the flash light emission timing section 26, so as to emit light at a shutter opening smaller by a prescribed value, in correspondance with the external world luminance by the light metering section 33, with respect to the correct distance of the flash light emission by the lens-setting means 35. |
