PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time during which a magnetic head stays on a magnetic disk and to reduce the number of loading and unloading. SOLUTION: A nonvolatile memory 5 is mounted to temporarily store information under a recording instruction from a host 11. A number of information is accumulated in the memory 5 and the information is collectively recorded later on a magnetic disk 1. Thus, the number of accesses made to the disk 1 of a magnetic head 2 is reduced, the time during which the head 1 stays on the disk 2 is reduced and the number of loading and unloading is also reduced.
