PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magenta toner having a small particle diameter with narrow distribution of the grain size in which a pigment is uniformly dispersed with a small particle diameter. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic charge image developing polymer toner containing at least a binder resin and a coloring agent, the toner contains a compound expressed by general formula (I) as the coloring agent. In formula I, each of A, B, C represents an aromatic ring which may have substituents.
