PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature and humidity measuring instrument capable of reducing power consumption and capable of dispensing with adjusting work such as level alignment or the like. SOLUTION: The temperature and humidity measuring instrument is equipped with a first electrostatic capacity humidity sensor 2 sufficiently low in the temperature dependence with respect to a sensor signal, a second electrostatic capacity humidity sensor 3 large in the temperature dependence with respect to the sensor signal, a memory part 9 for storing humidity calculating reference data for calculating humidity on the basis of the sensor signal of the first electrostatic capacity humidity sensor 2 and temperature calculating reference data for calculating temperature on the basis of the sensor signal of the second electrostatic capacity humidity sensor 3 and an operation part 6 for calculating humidity on the basis of the sensor signal of the first electrostatic capacity humidity sensor and the humidity calculating reference data and calculating temperature on the basis of the calculation result, the sensor signal of the second electrostatic capacity humidity sensor 3 and the temperature calculating reference data.
