PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC dynamoelectric machine having improved energy efficiency and superior utility. SOLUTION: This AC dynamoelectric machine 20 has a stator 11 and a rotor 12, which relatively applies an attracting forcer to the stator 11. The rotor 12 rotates with its center shaft as a rotary shaft 14. One of the stator 11 or a rotor 12 has a plurality of attracting parts 11a-11f, which have a plurality of magnetic elements 17a-17h arranged along a circle around the rotary shaft 14, and are arranged consecutively along the rotary shaft 14. The other has a plurality of magnet parts, which have a plurality of basic factors whose acting planes, applying attractive forces on the magnetic elements 17a-17h, are arranged on a circle around the rotary shaft 14 and are arranged consecutively along the rotary shaft 14 so as to correspond to the attracting parts. The basic factors have electromagnet parts and permanent magnet parts provided on both the sides of the electromagnet parts with contact planes between them, and the acting planes and the contact planes face each other with the permanent magnet parts between them.
