<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image service system capable of facilitating ordering, improving convenience in terms of management and the efficiency of work and performing quick service. SOLUTION: When digital image data and order information corresponding to them are transmitted through a network N to a shop C provided with a photo printer 101 or the like, a server S selects the photo printer 101, 103a or 104a in the shop C as a print output destination corresponding to the order information, directly transfers the digital image data to the selected photo printer (for instance, the photo printer 101 in the case of outputting images as they are and the photo printers 103a and 104a in the case of working and editing the images) and instructs to perform print output stipulated by the order information and/or performs the print output stipulated by the order information after working and editing the digital image data. Thus, compared to the case that an operator on the side of the shop C confirms a print order, selects an appropriate image printer and judges the presence/absence of the working and editing of the digital image data, judgment regarding print by the operator on the shop side is reduced and thus, processings are quickened.</p> |
