PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display drive assembly which can downsize a power source supply circuit by decreasing the kinds of power source possessed by this circuit and can prevent the occurrence of deterioration of a display grade and failure by accompanying the same. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device, having a liquid crystal display panel 10, a scanning driver 4, a signal driver 20 and the power source supply circuit 5, is provided with a charge pump circuit 1, which supplied plural voltages to the scanning driver 4 and the signal driver 20 from the power source supply circuit 5, having the plural power sources, is supplied with the voltage from part of the power sources of the plural power sources and forms a desired voltage by the combination of these voltages. When the formed voltage is supplied to the scanning driver 4, the voltage is supplied to a voltage-detecting circuit 2, and when the formed voltage is outside of a prescribed voltage range, a standby state setting signal STBC for setting the scanning driver 4 and the signal driver 20 at a standby state is supplied from the voltage-detecting circuit 2.
