PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor easily installable inside a refrigerator and the like by omitting a projection part and the like because of a temperature detection means from the compressor outside diameter. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 16 is arranged in a discharge chamber part 8. In this way, a partially projecting part conventionally constructed for the temperature sensor 16 is dispensed with, so that the compressor 1 can be easily arranged inside the refrigerator and the like. Because a sensor mounting seat 15 is also dispensable in a housing 13 for a motor part 10, the housing 13 can be provided with a compact outline with a good-yield shape and can be reduced in weight. In addition, a cost can be lowered because machining for a seat face and a screw hole is not required. Although a compressor temperature is detected via the housing 13 in the motor part 10 conventionally, in this compressor, a refrigerant temperature governing a compressor temperature can be directly detected because the temperature detection means is arranged in the discharge chamber part, and consequently, temperature detection sensitivity can be improved.
