PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect current position information for a person conducting its job while moving between buildings or in a building for example and to output information corresponding to the current position. SOLUTION: The mobile information terminal 1 is provided with a position detection system 6, an altitude sensor 7, and a database 9a that has building information including information of each floor. When the position detection system 6 detects a current position, a CPU 2 searches the database 9a to specify a building on the basis of the current position, reads the corresponding building information from the database 9a and writes the information to a work memory 5a. When the altitude sensor 7 detects a current altitude, the CPU 2 searches the building information written in the work memory 5a to specify which floor the altitude indicates and allows a display section 3 to display the corresponding floor information. |
