PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe body carrier with a pipe axis adjusting jig dispensing with or easily performing pipe centering between the pipe body conveyed and previously placed in a deteriorated pipe and a succeeding pipe body mounted on the pipe body carrier when a new pipe is laid in the deteriorated pipe, and to provide a method for placing the pipe using the truck in the pipe body carrier and the method for placing the pipe body using it. SOLUTION: The carrier comprises a position adjusting jig projectingly provided from a pipe end of the pipe body placed on the carrier toward a traveling direction of the carrier, or comprises a swing prevention jig having a structure to support the pipe body by a pipe body supporting tool independently movable in the right and left direction to the pipe axial direction of the pipe body placed while having a vertically movable supporting point, or the pipe body carrier comprises both of them.
