A plastic pipe for carrying fluids has an inner layer of polyamide making up 80 - 90 per cent of its total thickness, and an outer layer of another polymer. For an inner diameter of 3.5 - 4 mm it has an outer diameter of 7 - 8 mm, and it can be produced e.g. by coextrusion.
