PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to detect an input position corresponding to a key area displayed on a display panel by the generating magnetic force of an electromagnet sensed by a magnetic body. SOLUTION: This data inputting device 1 is constituted so that a display panel 5 for displaying a key area 5a indicating an input position at a prescribed position on a display screen and a touch panel 3d for permitting a prescribed data input at the input position corresponding to the key area 5a can be integrally arranged. This data inputting device 1 is provided with a magnetic sheet 3b in which plural electromagnets 3c are arranged at the prescribed position corresponding to the key area 5a and a magnetic sheet control part 3a for selectively controlling the excitation of the plural electromagnets 3c so that a user can detect the input position by sensing a repulsion magnetic force M of the electromagnet 3c through a magnetic stall 10.
