PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rechargeable wristwatch using an alternating current generator without harming excellent appearance from a design standpoint. SOLUTION: This electronic wristwatch with a generating set comprises the generating set composed of a rotor, a stator, a coil, a mechanism to make the rotor rotate so as to convert mechanical energy into electric energy, a rectification circuit for rectifying alternating current electromotive force induced in the coil of the generating set, a rechargeable secondary power source for storing electric power rectified by the rectification circuit, and an overcharge circuit for preventing overcharge of the secondary power source. An overcharge prevention circuit is composed of a structure when a switching element and a rectifying element are connected in series, and the overcharge prevention circuit is parallel-connected to the coil forming the generating get. |
