PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, where unless a battery is removed, a power source adapter cannot be used. SOLUTION: The battery 16 is contained in a container. A connector electrode 13 of the power source adapter is connected to an input terminal 31. When the electrode 13 is connected to the terminal 31, the battery 16 cannot be contained in the container, and when the battery 16 is contained in the container, the electrode 13 cannot be connected to the terminal 31. Accordingly, in this power supply system, if the battery 16 is not removed, the electrode 13 of the adapter cannot be connected. Conversely, if the electrode 13 is not removed from the terminal 31, the battery 16 cannot be set. Thus, a state in which the battery 16 remains as is, due to forgetting to set the battery 16, even though a power supply is conducted by the adapter, can be avoided.
