PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding mechanism for a coin-shaped battery, capable of avoiding the poor contact of a coin-shaped battery due to impact, and a camera data copying device provided therewith. SOLUTION: The holding mechanism for the coin-shaped battery 4, extending through a protecting plate 2a protecting mounted, component a circuit board 3 for mounting the coin-shaped battery 4 on the circuit board 3, comprises a through-opening 12 formed in the protecting plate 2a for supporting the coin- shaped battery 4 in the radial direction, a first connection terminal 32 having a contact portion 42 for contacting a central portion on the reverse of the coin-shaped battery 4, and a second connection terminal 31 having a contact portion 53 for contacting a central portion on the surface of the coin-shaped battery 4. The contact portion 42 of the first connection terminal 32 and the contact portion 53 of the second connection terminal 31 are formed of plate springs, between which the coin-shaped battery 4 is held in press contact, and the second connection terminal 31 is mounted on the protecting plate 2a in the state of preventing the separation of the coin-shaped battery 4.
