PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably notify any instructing station of processing results regardless of an instruction request from any instructing station. SOLUTION: This facsimile apparatus 100 stores the information of a caller's number notified from a network side in a RAM 2 under the control of a system controlling part 8, also performs processing (confidential communication processing or relay broadcast communication processing) requested from an instructing station, and a communication controlling part 10 subsequently performs communication control to notify the instructing station of the stored caller's number of processing results.
