PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device of a slide door capable of preventing the lock lever of a locked cylinder lock from being disconnected from a lock receiving hole by keeping a distance between the opposed surfaces of the vertical frame members of the slide doors overlapped with each other at the time of closing thereof. SOLUTION: In the vertical frame member of a front side slide door 8 and a rear side slide door 7 having a four-side frame and overlapped with each other in longitudinal direction at the closed position a cylinder lock is installed on the vertical frame member of the front side slide door and a fitting hole for fitting the projectable tip part of the cylinder lock 24 thereto is provided in the vertical frame member of the rear side slide door. A distance keeping means 32 for keeping a distance between the opposed surfaces of the vertical frame members of the front and rear slide doors at the closed position is installed on the opposed surfaces of the vertical frame members.
