PURPOSE: A lapping/polishing wheel and its preparation method are provided, to improve the lifetime and the polishing power even without using water and a polishing auxiliary and to enhance the surface smoothness of a material to be polished. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing 43-55 wt% of a vitreous bond, 25-37 wt% of diamond powder, 5-15 wt% of carbonated straw powder, 5-15 wt% of walnut shell powder, and distilled water; inserting the mixture into a mold and hot-air drying it; and drawing the dried one and firing it. Preferably the firing temperature is 450-1,100 deg.C. The mold is made of acryl or plastic.
