<p>A process for preparing a hydrazine derivative (II) by reducing a hydrazone derivative (I) with a solid amine-borane complex; [wherein R?1, R2, R3 and R4¿ are each hydrogen, an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, or the like]. This process makes it possible to prepare hydrazine derivatives useful as drugs, agricultural chemicals, foods, cosmetics, or chemical products, or intermediates of them from easily available raw materials by a convergent route in a few steps under safe conditions through easy handling of reagents and wastes, thus being industrially advantageous.</p> |
