摘要 <p>The invention relates to a method for producing polymerizates and copolymerizates of α-substituted acrylic compounds according to which one or more polymerizable monomeric compounds of general formula (I), wherein R?1 and R2¿ assume the meanings as cited in the description, is/are polymerized, in the presence of a catalytically active structure, obtained in situ from an organometallic rare earth metal (III) complex or from a rare earth metal (II) complex of general formula (II): [(IND)A(IND)]LnR6, wherein: IND signifies a substituted indenyl group or a substituted cyclopentadienyl group with a fused aromatic or aliphatic ring; A represents a diyl radical which bridges two IND units and which comprises an element from groups 13, 14, 15 or 16 of the periodic table; Ln represents a rare earth metal in oxidation step +3 or +2, and; R6 represents a hydride ligand or a ligand that is capable of forming agostic interactions, or represents a neutral donor ligand (e.g. tetrahydrofuran). The one or more polymerizable monomeric compounds is/are polymerized in an aprotic solvent for the catalytically active compound at temperatures ranging from -100 °C to the boiling point of the solvent. The polymerizate or copolymerizate obtained from the polymerization is, in an appropriate manner, isolated or subjected to an additional processing in solution. The invention also relates to the obtained polymerizates and copolymerizates which have a high isotacticity.</p>
