METHOD FOR PROCESSING CALLS OF MAIN NUMBER AND SECONDARY NUMBER USING PERSONAL NUMBER ADDITIONAL SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for processing calls of a main number and a secondary number using a personal number additional service is provided to receive a desired telephone to secure a personal private life and offer an improved communication service by allocating two numbers to a subscriber and displaying one number between the allocated two numbers on a terminal. CONSTITUTION: When a certain subscriber calls a user of a personal number additional service using a main number, a transmitting-side switch requests a position to a home location register(HLR) in which a main number including the main number and a calling number is registered(S1). The HLR confirms a called number transmitted from the certain subscriber and requests a TLDN to a visitor location register(VLR)(S2). The VLR receives the TLDN transmitted from the HLR, stores information including the main number and a newly generated TLDN in a database, and returns the TLDN to the HLR(S3). The HLR transmits the TLDN transmitted from the VLR to the transmitting-side switch(S4). The VLR and a receiving-side switch translate the TLDN transmitted from the transmitting-side switch and perform an outgoing process, and search subscriber information using the TLDN to output the main number to a terminal(S5).
