A heat-sealing unit (10) welds a plastics cover web (1) to a plastics lower foil web (2). The sealing unit has a lower part (14) which is raised and lowered against the upper part (13) which has a number of heat-sealing elements (26). When clear of the lower section, the upper section is swiveled along fixed guide on guide rollers (29) clear of the operating position by an actuator (37). The rollers move over guide plates (31). |
