PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas permeable membrane device having a seal mechanism which secures the high airtightness of a chamber without using an O-ring and a flange and is easy in piping and the replacement of parts. SOLUTION: This device includes the chamber having an introduction side connection pipe part and a discharge side connection pipe part, a tube bundle which is housed in the chamber and bundles gas permeable tubes, a cylindrical joint which has a piping connection part for connecting the pipe for introducing or discharging liquid to its one end part and a tube bundle connection part for connecting the tube bundle to the other end part and is inserted into each connection pipe part of the chamber, a fastening member which fastens each cylindrical joint by screwing, and a ferrule which is arranged on the circumferential surface of the joint and holds the airtightness of each connection pipe part by being inserted between the connection pipe parts when fastening is done with the fastening member.
