PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a economical crusher with improved operability, workability for maintenance, and safety and capable of crushing even solid matter hard to be crushed. SOLUTION: Crushing rollers 17, 18 are made possible to be arranged in normal positions in transverse arrangement and pushing positions in vertical arrangement in a bending part of an inner route of a casing, so that out only ordinary wastes (a) but also wastes (b) hard to be crushed can easily be crushed. The operability, the workability for maintenance, and the safety of the crusher 10 can be improved. The switching of the vertical arrangement positions and the transverse arrangement positions of the crushing rollers 17, 18 is carried out by rotating both rollers 17, 18 at 90 degrees on a switching rotary shaft S. Consequently, the switching work can smoothly be carried out even by using a motive force with a relatively small output. As a result, the crusher 10 provided with such advantages can be manufactured at a relatively low cost.
